“KAB Library & Residency” in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, Japan and “MUHE ART” in Fengshan District, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, have been conducting a residency program in Taiwan as part of the Japan-Taiwan Art and Culture Exchange Program.
As a result of the one-month residency, a solo exhibition will be held at MUHE ART.

MUHE ART” is located in Huangpu New Village, a village built for military personnel during the Japanese occupation.
The buildings have been renovated to create a charming village with a mixture of historical atmosphere and new content.

I visited many places while living in the village. I created the work in response to what I felt and thought while living there, as well as the places I visited.
I created three new works here in Kaohsiung City, incorporating a different style from my usual.
In this exhibition, I have created the exhibition by combining 23 works brought from Japan and 3 new works with an awareness of the connection between my expressions.

In addition to introducing my past works, I am happy to present the works that I created while thinking about my own expression in a different environment from my usual one.
Please come to the exhibition if you have a chance.
