Biography
Yuki Muraoka
Yuki Muraoka is an artist who expresses “people’s everyday lives” by using various sculptural techniques. He was born in Hiroshima where the atomic bomb was dropped in 1945. In other words, His hometown has a history of complete change of people’s lives. The unforgettable background of the city makes him realize that it is a wonder that we humans enjoy our usual lives, and it is made up of various fragile balances. Yuki believes that these fragile and ephemeral daily miracles are the most beautiful things in the world, and he explores the ways to express them.
